Daughters of Darkness Herbal Tea Blend

$15.00

Take a turn around the bonfires

Burning at the height of midsummer

Join your weird sisters and listen to the spells

Spoken from the lips of your community circle.

Sense Notes:

Smoked | Floral | Summery

This is an exclusive blend created by Old Growth Alchemy in collaboration with and in support of Salem’s Daughters of Darkness Festival. This year with the festival being cancelled less than a month before the official date, we lost a great chance to connect as a community of makers and creators. With this blend, I wanted to capture the spirit of the festival and also give something back in anticipation of next year’s to make it even better. Half of the proceeds of this tea go straight into the pool of funds for Salem’s Daughters of Darkness Festival so your support will have a direct impact on supporting the Salem maker community.

And now to the tea: this blend captures the essence of a bonfire at midsummer. It is a rich and smoky tea combined with the floral top note of rose and sweet kiss of tulsi. Take a dance around the fire with your sisters as you brew this tea and think of the height of summer in Salem, Massachusetts.

As an herbal tea blend, I would recommend an infusion of 1-2 tablespoon of loose tea per 8 oz of hot water and infusing for at least 5 minutes, but it can easily and deliciously go for longer. The flavors and scent will change the longer it steeps, so be sure to take some time while your brew infuses to experience the journey.

Ingredients:

Roasted tie guan yin tea, raspberry leaf†, anise hyssop†, lemon thyme†, bay laurel, and lavender.

†local | All ingredients are organic.

**Please note this blend is caffeinated.
